They were invited as speakers at the American New England Carnival Glass Association’s Congress for their reputed knowledge of all patterns and shapes in the ice green and ice blue colours. Their experience confirms them as experts as well for vases, plates, punch bowls, centerpieces, fruit bowls, compotes, water and breakfast sets, and this, in all patterns and colours.

Yvan is also collecting for more than 25 years. He is the Association’s founder and our expert to answer most questions asked by the members during our quarterly meetings. Yvan wrote some articles and participated to television show on carnival glass. He is very well documented about old time technics for this pressed glasses manufacturing and about the producers themselves. He is known by Americans connaissors under the nickname of « Open Edge Kid ».  He also collects other shapes of carnival glass and researchs the rarity of the pieces and the nicest iridescences.

Jean-Guy is an expert in matters of vases and he also collects pieces of great quality … Serge is an expert in matters of Imperial patterns; he is our editor, researcher and reporter who signed many technical articles in our quarterly newsletter... Normand researches nice plates and other exceptional pieces… Antoine is a great connoisseur and informs us on many specific topics, result of his deep research and his trips to our American neighbours’ country …

Many other members are also very well informed on all aspects of carnival glass. Some assist regularly to American congresses and are well reknown beyond borders as experts in patterns, shapes and colours of carnival glass.
